Lisbon, 22-23-24 November 2024
Our 24th Multilateral Meeting of Eurocapitales International took place on 22, 23 and 24 November 2024 in Lisbon.
Two round tables were organised at the Goethe Institut Lisboa, in collaboration with our Portuguese partners, the Casa da Europa du Distrito de Lisboa, on Saturday 23 November on the themes of:
Morning session: "The common defense policy in the European Union".
The moderator was Miguel DUARTE and the speakers Dr Paulo SANDE, Lawyer and Guest Professor at the Institute of Political Studies of the Catholic University. The other speakers were the General Luis Valença PINTO, currently President of Eurodefence-Portugal, and Helena FERRO DE GOUVEIA, journalist and a communications specialist and international affairs analist.
Afternoon session: "The future of Europe after the new composition of the European Parliament".
The two speakers were Francisco GUERREIRO, former Green MEP, and Ricardo SILVESTRE, international Officer at the Think Tank Movimento Liberal Social. The moderator was Marcos Melo ANTUNES.

The Second General Meeting of EUROCAPITALES INTERNATIONAL took place after the afternoon session from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm (see the minutes in the file General Meeting EUROCAPITALES INTERNATIONAL).
We welcomed our Greek, Finnish, Portuguese and French members. The two round tables were highly instructive, thanks to the high-level, expert speakers.
